Gestion des connaissances au service du développement: le cas d’une organisation internationale de recherche

Cette recherche a été entreprise dans le souci de mieux comprendre la situation de la gestion des connaissances dans une organisation internationale canadienne dédiée à la recherche pour le développement. L'objectif final de la recherche étant de mettre en œuvre une stratégie de gestion des connaissances répondant aux besoins de l'organisation en vue de soutenir sa stratégie.
Des études quantitative et qualitative ont été faites pour évaluer les pratiques, attitudes, perceptions et opinions des employés de l'organisation, selon quatre facilitateurs de la gestion des connaissances (leadership, technologie, engagement et structure organisationnelle) pertinents pour l'organisation.
L'étude quantitative, par questionnaire destiné aux employés et des entretiens avec les agents du partage et de l'application des connaissances, par guide d’entretien, a permis de mesurer les perceptions et de recueillir des données provenant de ces deux catégories de travailleurs, à l'aide d'une échelle de Linkert en cinq points (1 à 5), et de formuler des recommandations.
38% des employés ciblés ont rempli le questionnaire, et 70% des responsables du partage et de l'application des connaissances, soit 100% de cette catégorie de participants disponibles au moment des entretiens, ont été interviewés
