Communiquer et collaborer pour se préparer à l'inattendu

20 ans après sa fondation en 1996, l'IICD, l'Institut international pour la communication et le développement, a définitivement fermé ses portes. Au fil des ans, l'IICD a prouvé que les technologies de l'information et de la communication (TIC) peuvent accélérer le développement socio-économique et qu'une méthodologie basée sur des principes tels que l'engagement multipartite, l'approche axée sur la demande et l'appropriation locale, est essentielle pour intégrer et soutenir des activités assistées par les TIC. Les investissements de l'IICD pour permettre aux individus, aux organisations et aux réseaux de répondre de manière adéquate aux besoins en TIC des parties prenantes locales ont abouti à la création d'environnements propices avec des partenaires expérimentés, pouvant offrir des solutions TIC pertinentes et robustes au niveau local.
Basé sur l'expérience de l'auteur, cet article explore l'heritage de l'organisation après cinq ans, dans un contexte qui a largement evolué. Il exprime également ses opinions et partage ses idées liées à l'importance du partage des connaissances pour la préparation dans un monde post-pandémique.
